| After an exhaustive search for shared virtual hosting I came across CodeRedHosting. What a find! From the outset they answered my e-mails promptly and efficiently and they still do.
Becoming a virtual host is a steep learning curve, especially when it comes to domains and DNS control Code Red guided me through the process and even liaised with third party companies while my domains were transferred for hosting on their servers.
The shared server is fast and easy to configure using the Plesk interface (a lot simpler than it looks after about half an hour). This has enabled me to sell server space to two of my clients and I have almost covered my costs. I also use the server as a development platform which has just about everything you need on a Linux box. So I get to host my sites and my clients sites for a cut down price.
To cut a long story short, Code Red does what it says on the tin without any fuss and a surprisingly (in this industry) superior level of service provision. You can even talk to one of those humans we have heard of if you really need to. I would not hesitate to recommend their service to new customers. |
