| It is unbelievable how rude those guys are! Constant upgrades, short notices. This is a 'official' reply from a technical support guy:
"No, you have no clue what your talking about. Your just assuming garbage.
No "upgrades" were done recently and neither do they just change themes.
If your going to pass blatant lies like that your account will be immediately terminated, so refrain from such crap of yours."
Stay away from them!

| I was with this company for a little over two years. I had the Basic shared hosting account I never had any major problems until I would ask for support. If it was a script I installed (even if it was issues with their server configuration) they would simply say they don't support third-party scripts and say it's not their problem.
Another issue is that they use X-PopBeforeSMTPSenders headers. This basically sends along with your email in the headers all the email addresses you use. Chad things this is a good security feature. Nope! Their mail servers already reject any email where the user has not used SMTP authentication.
Next on the list is unannounced downtime. My website would to down, I would send in a support ticket only to find out that they are doing server maintenance. I finally asked why don't email customers when there are server upgrades. I received the following response:
“We do not email people out. Instead, we work on the problem right away. Sending out emails is not going to solve the problem at all.”
They use ModernBill as their billing software. They could easily fire off an email telling people of the downtime. Past hosting providers have notified me at least 48 hours ahead of time.
I ended up telling them how I felt. I notified them that I was going to post my experiences on RipOffReport.com and every hosting review site I could find. Chad responded with the usual. He instulted me and my intelligence. He eventually went to the extreme of using vulgar language. That was the final straw.
I sent an email telling him to no longer contact me. If he wanted to debate something, that's fine, however, I would not tolerate continued abuse by him talking down to me. In addition, I was definately not going to tolerate him using curse words at me.
Prior to that email, he stated he was forwarding the matter to his legal department for me slandering him. I do hope his attorney contacts me. I look forward to going to court and telling the judge how he treats people like dirt, talks down to them, then uses profane language in emails. I did forward his vulgar email to his upstream provider, Team Technologies, LLC. I forwarded it to their abuse department.
My advice, stay away from him and his company. You can read many reports about him and Virtuoso Net Solutions online and how he degrades people. |

| I have used VNS for a while now and I have nothing but praise for them. They certainly provide what they promise. The shared server I'm on is always up and constantly updated. They have added new services (free for current clients) a few times in the last couple of months which was a sweet surprise (disk/bandwidth upgraded free was one).
The servers are fast and the support is fast, friendly. I give them two thumbs up |
